A vast majority of the custom outdoor buildings that we build here at Custom Sheds on Hwy 10 are wood buildings. Sheds, barns, cabins, garages… the whole list features wood as the main resource in its construction. But wood isn’t the only resource with which we build. We also have a few steel building options available for you to customize. Today, we thought we’d highlight the available options you have as starting points for customizing a steel building.

 

As you might’ve read somewhere else on our website, we’re incredibly open to customization. We want you to get the exact outdoor building that you’re envisioning in your mind’s eye, so we’re super open to listening to your ideas and coming up with a total gameplan. But everyone needs a starting point, so here are the different options we have available to you where steel buildings are concerned:

As you can see, these starting points aren’t even that specific, so the customizability is pretty immense. If you want a garage that can accommodate two cars, start with the two-car garage option. Need space for double that? Go with the four-car metal garage option. Want a covered area that’s not walled in attached to your garage? Get one with a lean-to or a carport. Want your garage to be insulated in order to regulate temperature? They’re all right there in the names.

 

As you can see, all of our steel building examples are different kinds of garages, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t get a different type of outdoor building made out of steel. Many of our other building styles have options to change the siding and roof types. For example, our utility gable shed style can be made with steel siding and/or a steel roof.
